Wild Horse Golf Club

Dan Proctor and Dave Axland designed and built Wild Horse Golf Club in Gothenburg, Nebraska, and the 18-hole public facility opened in 1999. Dan and Dave are both extremely talented and have been my two closest long-time mentors in the business. They have shared with me so much about designing and building golf courses and they are two of my closest friends. We continue to collaborate often on golf projects. In 2025, Dan and Dave returned to work in the field at Wild Horse to create a wonderful new short game practice area. It will will be great fun for local residents and guests! The five new artistically-shaped green complexes can be played in a loop or players can go out and create their own golf holes across the rolling contours. I provided graphic services and I’m excited to go play the course again soon and personally experience Dan and Dave’s new work.
