Stagg Hill Golf Club

Stagg Hill Golf Club is a 18-hole semi private golf facility located in Manhattan, Kansas. It was built in 1968 and is strongly supported by local residents, active military based at Fort Riley and students of nearby Kansas State University. Club leadership is in process of exploring and planning golf facility renewal concepts. The first area of focus was on development of a new short game practice area. I prepared concept graphic for review, consideration and approval to proceed with construction implementation during the Summer 2025. Our targets are total grassing and completion of Phase I by the end of August, 2025 and balance of the 2025 season left to support the total new turf maturation and grow-in process led by Golf Course Superintendent Justin Chandler and his staff. There is possibility of a soft opening in the late fall of 2025.
