Brackett’s Crossing Country Club
Brackett’s Crossing sits on wonderful glacier land just south of Minneapolis, in Lakeville. Tom and Peggy Smith have owned the club since the early 1990s, and they’ve been committed to constantly improving it through the years. The course started as the Honeywell Country Club in the 1960s, when it was built for employees of the industrial conglomerate that used to be based in Minnesota.
I’ll be doing my work in spring/fall/spring/fall phases over the next two years, leaving the prime summer seasons clear for play to continue. We’ll be opening up some of the vistas and making the course more representative of its location. It’s a great membership that loves golf, and I’m excited to get started.
